Midas Hospitality is thrilled to announce the addition of Shane to our growing leadership team as Vice President of Operations. Shane will primarily oversee hotels in the Western Region but will initially provide support for the Central Region as well.
Shane brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. Originally from New York, he moved to California in his early 20s and began his career in the restaurant industry. His passion for food & beverage led him to become an executive chef at just 25 years old. However, he soon discovered his true calling in hospitality, where he has excelled over the last decade.
For the past ten years, Shane has been a key leader at InnVentures, progressing from General Manager to Task Force GM, and most recently serving as Vice President of Operations for the last five years. His leadership has been instrumental in developing talent at all levels, and he is highly respected by both his associates and property owners. Shane has extensive experience working with Marriott, Hilton, and IHG brands across select and extended-stay hotels.
Outside of work, Shane is a passionate guitarist, golfer, and chef. His love for food extends to his favorite snacks—dark chocolate (the darker, the better), chicharrons, and salt & vinegar chips—all enjoyed with either sparkling water or Mezcal, depending on the occasion. His ultimate meal? A 40oz prime Tomahawk steak, his dad’s famous stuffed mushrooms, Foie Gras Terrine on toasted sourdough, a slice of Capri pizza from upstate New York, and his mom’s classic New York cheesecake.
